Veluz Lopez is a mother, a wife, and a business woman from Cagayan De Oro, the capital city in the province of Misamis Oriental in Mindanao. She has been engaged in different enterprises before entering her present business. She used to be an Organic fertilizer producer and a Trucking Services owner. 

Because of the ups and down, and challenges, they have ventured another business which is stonecrafting. In 2012, she started the decorative stonecraft business with the registered name “DVL Stonecraft”. Ensuring that waste stone are properly disposed. Today, they have grown their employees from two individuals to eight workers. They provide them also with rice allowance, mandated benefits and weekly salary. 

Veluz will be needing a working capital loan to serve all purchase orders from clients. This will be provided by Lendahand and local partner NPFC. The loan will have to be repaid in 18 months.
