Marinita Ungui resides in San Nicolas Proper Cebu City, Cebu. Her spouse is Nolito with whom she has three children. From childhood, she is exposed to working and used to be a working student until she graduated highschool. She worked as a sales lady in a store located at Tabo-an Public Market, until she reached maturity age and put-up her own business based from her experience. In 1996, she established Nolibeth Dried Fish Dealer which is engaged in wholesale and retail of Dried fish and pasalubong items. Her products are purchased from Bantayan Island, Palawan, Zamboanga, and Bohol provinces, thus creates impact for local fishermen. Items are sold in her store and some are delivered weekly to regular customers located in other Cebu Public Market.
The business name came from the combination of Nolito and Marinitas nickname Libith. There are four male and two female working for her, which she provides with minimum wage that they received weekly, free food and lodging. On the upcoming International Eucharistic Congress, Marinita will join the event and will need a working capital loan to purchase dried fish to have stocks.
Loan will be provided by LendAHand, together with local partner NPFC. To be repaid in six months.
