SECOND LOAN

“Coolway Multi-Purpose Cooperative” (Coolway MPC) is a cooperative based in the province of Bogo City, Cebu. It is owned and managed by Normando Inso, General Manager, together with his brother-in-law Luis Asierto, Chairman of the Board who both have years of experience in banking before starting Coolway MPC on December 29, 2011. The cooperative is now serving approximately 18,000 individual where members are 90% women. These are women who are their spouse’s partner in supporting their families. As an extension of its service, Coolway provides a regular feeding program and tree planting activity on a monthly basis. They also offer free ambulance service for members and non-members of their cooperative.

179 are employed by Coolway MPC, 136 are field staff and 43 are office staff, divided in the head office and 14 existing branches. All of them are assured to be well-compensated and receives mandatory benefits. 

Lendahand, together with its local partner NPFC, will help Coolway MPC acquire additional working capital loan to serve more members.
