Rowena Peñalosa is a thirty eight (38) year old mother of three (3) and the president of Grace and Truth Christian College of Laguna, Inc. Grace and Truth Christian College of Laguna, Inc. started in 1965 by American missionaries Citizen Knox and his wife Cecilia Knox. The christian school started with nine (9) pupils. When the missionaries left the country and the school, they left the management of the school to Wheng's father. And in 2011, the school management and operations went to Wheng as president.

With twenty-nine (29) years of its operation, the most prevaling problem the school encounters were financially related. However, the school gave scholars for those indigent students and can maintain their good grades.

Currently, Wheng's father is the vice-president, her husband as the treasurer, and her mother as the secretary of the school. The school employs twenty-eight (28) employees where twenty-two (22) are females. With full benefits of Social Security System, Philhealth (healthcard) and Pag-ibig (Home Development Mutual Fund).

Wheng hopes to maintain the good reputation of the school and help more students.

Lendahand partner’s NPFC is helping Grace and Truth Christian College of Laguna, Inc. in acquiring additional working capital for being K12+1 compliant of the Department of Education, Philippines.
