Maribel is the proud owner of Flores Souvenir, a flower and garlic farm in Cundinamarca, Colombia. She started the flower farm in 2003 and her main market is the domestic market in Colombia. The economy is growing and especially in Bogotá, demand for fresh flowers is booming. Maribel has also started to grow garlic on a small plot of land, which at this moment already generates 3 jobs!

Maribel is generating 6 fulltime jobs at the moment. She hires female employees that are responsible for the main income of their families. 

Maribel would like to use the loan to prepare a plot of land to increase the garlic production. Furthermore, she want to replace older rosebushes for newer ones, so she can offer nicer roses to her customers. With the loan she also creates 2 new fixed jobs.

Lendahand and its local partner are pleased to grant this loan to Maribel payable in 24 months, to be able to make this ambition reality.
