My Nanny’s Garden was established in 2003 in Catraman, Northern Samar by Peter Custorio and his wife Selena Marie. They provide fruit-bearing trees, ornamental plants, produce, and cater to the gardening and landscaping needs of the region. They started the business at the suggestion of Selena Marie’s mother to start her own nursery and garden. Their clientele is composed of government agencies, schools, restaurants, a mall, and residents of the 24 municipalities of Northern Samar. They are the only business of this type in the whole province of Northern Samar.

Peter and Selena Marie envision a garden café to go with their nursery where people can relax and enjoy nature. For this expansion, they would like to hire 7 workers. At present, they have 4 workers composed of a gardener, an electrician, a carpenter, and a landscaper. They prioritize hiring the poor of the region and provide housing to the workers aside from compensation.

My Nanny’s Garden will be needing a working capital loan for additional construction in their nursery, for construction of their garden café, and for purchase of seedlings and other gardening and landscaping needs. The loan will be provided by NPFC and LendAHand.
