Pedro Consignado known by his friends as “ Ka Peter”, is into Meat processing since 2006. The business was named Genrev Home made meat products, which is the combination of his two sons names Genesis and Revjlab. Peter was into this business from the time he stopped from schooling. He started as a wholesaler of local products to canteen owners then eventually grew into meat processing. Meat processing was first introduced by a friend, where he has a continuous operation for over eight years now. From Nagcarlan Laguna he is now supplying in Cavite, Laguna, Rizal, Batangas and Quezon. Peter has currently twelve male and twenty female workers, with weekly salary rate and sss contribution as benefit. For his female worker with children, he gives the benefit of having a preferred working schedule in a day. Peter has done a community service, where feeding program is included in the activity. NPFC together with LendAHand will help Pedro Consignado in acquiring additional working capital to employ more workers and to tap other wet markets in Rizal, Philippines as one of his direct market in the near future.
