Investment criteria

Lendahand is an EU-based digital impact investing platform that focuses on providing impactful companies and financial institutions in global emerging markets access to affordable, quick, and flexible debt funding from retail investors. We are the first Dutch crowdfunding platform to have received the new European Crowdfunding Service Provider license from the Dutch Authority for Financial Markets (AFM). We provide senior debt in the form of a credit facility, hence we look for companies with the following:

Strong social mission, creating measurable impact in emerging economies
Viable business model, sound financial & risk management, a team with relevant experience
Proven & projected repayment capacity (incl. no history of repayment issues to creditors)
Supportive stakeholders
Expected debt drawdown of EUR 1m to 2.5m over the next 12 to 18 months

Submit request

After submitting a request through the button below, we check your alignment with Lendahand’s mission, minimum requirements, portfolio fit, and additional case-specific elements as identified. Then we will sign an NDA, agree on preliminary terms and move on to the due diligence process.

Due diligence

We request additional information regarding your company and evaluate your company for purposes of an internal memo. An internal committee reviews, highlighting areas to be further addressed. A local due diligence visit may take place at this stage, a good time to get to know each other! Once the final memo has been drafted, we ask for approval from our external credit committee.

Onboarding

We take you through our contracting phase and prepare you to be launched on our platform! Once you have access you can draw down funds whenever you need them within your credit limits
