SECOND LOAN

Marvi Solanoy was born in the province of Romblon and has transferred residency in Quezon City. She grew in a family business owning several pizza carts, saloon, merchandise, and hardware store. She focuses on handling pizza carts. It was first introduced by her cousin. She makes a special and quality dough but with an affordable price. In 2010, she started one pizza cart which has grown to several franchises. With her first loan to NPFC, her pizza carts had grown into 35 pizza carts, from the 15 carts in 2014. Because of having different businesses, Marvi’s brother assists her in the operational side of the company. Most of her workers are out of school youths, a total of 18, which were given with a minimum wage, and other benefits, like, mandated benefits, healthcare, and a 13th month pay. Last year, Marvi initiated the Crib Foundation wherein she supports the children by providing food for them.

Lendahand will support Marvi together with local partner NPFC, by providing an additional loan to purchase raw materials needed for expansion. It will also generate additional of 2 more out of school youth. The loan will be repaid in 12 months.
