Eva Minaño Cervantes is a married woman with three kids, living in Antipolo City Rizal. Since she was a kid, she and her younger sister was taught by their mother on how to make and sell pasalubong (presents such as goodies) products for over 20 years. In 2011, she decided to have her own pasalubong business and named it Ava’s Pasalubong Center, where she also makes suman and polvoron as part of the products available in their shop. Eva has four male and four female employees, provided with a weekly salary and free meal. During peak season, she employs three more employees to suffice the additional demands of her products. On holidays and Sundays, she opens her two shops for more sales and also joins out of town bazaares. Together with Lendahand’s partner NPFC is helping Eva Cervantes in acquiring additional working capital for business expansion.
