Lendahand is crowdfunding ourselves!

Written by Koen The on 24 April 2020

As you probably already know, Lendahand’s mission is to fight poverty in emerging markets all over the world by investing in people and businesses. The way we’ve chosen to do that is with crowdfunding, and since our founding in 2013, our crowd of investors have empowered our partner companies to create over 7.000 jobs, install nearly 60.000 solar systems, and reduce CO2 emissions by around 300.000 tonnes. With that said, we still have ambitious goals for Lendahand that will take our impact to even higher levels. Therefore, we have decided to enter into a new fundraising round by crowdfunding ourselves on the UK platform Seedrs on May 6th.

Update SimGas Kenya Ltd.

Written by Peter Stolze on 21 February 2019

Written by Peter Stolze on 14 February 2019

One of the cool things about Lulalend is that they disburse loans through an automated online platform. By using algorithms, credit scores can be assigned and assessed rapidly. A potential borrower knows whether his loan has been approved in just a couple of hours. If so, the money is transferred and will be in the borrower’s account the same day.

B-Corps Lendahand and Sistema.bio join forces

Written by Tobias Grinwis on 22 March 2018

Two captains of industries - and not coincidentally two B-Corps - are combining forces. Sistema.bio is a social enterprise that provides biogas digesters and appliances to rural farmers in several countries in Latin America, Kenya and India. Lendahand allows retail investors to sustain this initiative while earning a decent financial return. Together they will positively impact the lives of more than 4.500 people.
