The project

Four spearhead was registered as an Enterprise on the 10th July 2006 and authorized to engage in food services. Borrower deals in the sale of rice and chicken which is popularly known as “check check” at vantage points within Kumasi. It has now added restaurant continental, chop bar and bar. It currently has twelve of such joints or outlets which are situated at strategic locations at Bantama, Ashtown, Abrepo, Bohyen, and Krofrom etc. s. It is one of the popular fast food services providers in the Kumasi Metropolis and operates under the brand name as “Morvee”. It enjoys patronage from a few organizations and also provides catering services for social functions upon demand.

The business is by Nana Yaw Obeng and Sarfo Bennett which employs about 45 staff; comprising sales men, kitchen staff, chefs, and driver.

Some of its notable suppliers include Thonket Enterprise, Ernievero Enterprise Ltd for the supply of Rice, Cooking Oil and other ingredients and Paradise Gas for Liquefied Petroleum supplies. The trade term between borrower’s suppliers is strictly cash based; with occasional credit extension for a maximum period of two weeks. It also sells to its clients on cash terms; except where it needs to meet large orders. 

Lendahand will provide the loan to Sarfo together with local partner ABii National. The loan has to be repaid in 12 months.
