The project

Grace Diosemito has inherited the family business that produces clothing. But she had three years of experience for a different employer in the same industry. The operations started in 2008 and experienced continuous growth for the past seven years. Her previous employer entrusted her company to be one of the main sub-contractor which helps her grow the business. 

The business started with just one sewing machine which has grown into more than 30 machines. Grace and her 29 out-of-school-youth workers sews ready-to-wear clothes and delivers to regular clients. 13 out of them receive free lodging as well. 

Lendahand together with  local partner NPFC, will provide a loan to Grace in order for the entrepreneur to purchase bundles of fabric and accessories which she will needs to increase the production capacity. The loan will be repaid in 18 months.
