      The project

Erdenetsetseg owns a business in clothing sales at the Kharkhorin, one of the well known local markets in Ulaanbaatar city for the past 10 years.

She started by renting a small stall outside of the market, but as her business increased, she could afford to rent two stalls inside the market. Moreover, with the support of her husband she opened a small plant nursery that grows a certain type of tree which will be ready for sale this year.

With a loan, Erdenetsetseg will be able to increase her working capital but also invest more in the plant nursery, and realize her dream of opening a seabuckthorn farm in the future. Together with local partner VFM Lendahand will provide a loan that must be repaid in 24 months.
