The project

Since 15 years, Juan Garcia owns transportation company Acarreos Garcia. Juan is well known for his service in the region La Paz. Acarreros Garcia is transporting different types of products in and around Zipaquirá, a city one hour North from Colombias capital Bogotá. Juan owns one pick-up truck that he uses to service his clients. He has one employee, who helps him on- and off- loading the goods from the pick-up truck.

With the loan Juan Garcia would like to do the necessary repairs to his current vehicle. Next to this he would like to buy a new, larger pick-up truck to be able to transport more products and serve more clients. Furthermore, with this loan one new job will be created.

Lendahand and its local partner grant this loan to Juan, payable in 18 months, to be able to make this ambition reality.
