The project
Armelyn Villacorta obtained a Bachelor and Master degree at the University of Manila in 2014. With the influence of close family and friends, she set-up a business in duck farming in 2010 and named it Armelyn Duck Raising. During the first few years she managed it on her own while also working as a professional teacher.
After 6 years of operation, Armelyn has eight regular and two part time workers that enjoy free daily meals next to weekly salary. She hopes to expand the business, and therefore needs additional working capital.
Lendahand will therefore provide a loan together with our local partner NPFC. To be repaid in 18 months.
