      The project

A forty nine (49) year old Gemma Beltran is the owner of Gemma’s Bayong who mainly focus on setting native Bayong bags (a coarse sack of woven stips of pandanus/ palm leaves) and hat made of abaca (musa textilis) pandan (pandanus paamaryllipolius) and buri palm (corypha elata) these materials is a good alternative solution for using plastic bags. Gemma notice the harmful effects of using plastic container and that is the main reason why she chooses to use native materials because she became more concern about the environment also the passion and the heart in doing business is there Currently Gemma do not have employees but her loan will be utilized for additional raw materials and that includes employment generation to help environment and people around her. Lendahand partner’s NPFC helped Gemma Beltran for additional working capital which will boost sales and orders
