      Summary

Ms. Erezuela was formerly quality control personnel of First Cavite Industrial Economic Zone (FCIEZ). He/She met his/her husband/wife in the same company and they both resigned after 16 years of employment to put up their own rag making/garments business. Their business has been operational for 14 years, starting with 1 sewing machine which they were able to buy from their savings. They made rags from pieces of textiles and, as their business progressed, they also started making school and office uniforms. They eventually hired their neighbors (as sub-contractors) to accommodate the increasing orders. At present, they employ 8 workers who enjoy free meals and other financial incentives (bonuses). They were referred by an existing NPFC client. They will use their loan as additional working capital – specifically, to purchase raw materials which will help boost their sales.
