Summary
Both Mrs. Manlapaz and her spouse started as a pattern-maker of a clothing company specializing on childrens clothes. They eventually resigned and were offered by their employer to set-up their own business and act as sub-contractor to their former company. Their knowledge in the garments industry/business encouraged them to venture in the said business and even export their products, but it was a rough start as they experienced delay in the payment of their customers abroad. The experience prompted them to focus on local clients instead. From employing 15 workers and from setting up the business in their own residence, the business grew and now employs 25 workers and they set up an additional factory area for production. They came to know NPFC thru an existing client. They will use the loan proceeds as additional working capital for their business.Company name | Jenzell Garments |
