Summary

Cecilyn Perez worked as a chemist for her father's company Acron after she graduated from college. Due to a lot of clashes between Cecil and her father, she decided to start her own business. In 2001 Cecil founded Romachem Enterprises, but stayed employed at Acron in the beginning, because she did not have the expertise yet to manufacture the complex products on her own.

In 2004, it was time for Cecil to resign at Acron and to start managing her business on a full-time basis. Romachem Enterprises manufactures high quality industrial lubricants and chemicals for the automotive industry for example. The products can be purchased online and are distributed throughout various dealers in Metro Manila and to other neighboring provinces. Currently, Romachem Enterprises employs 11 workers with Cecil's husband working as the operations manager. Currently Cecil’s plans to expand the product- and service lines by putting together a team of experts in the field of water treatment and wastewater management. If the team comes to a new product offering, she will be able to hire more workers.

Together with local partner's NPFC Lendahand will support Romachem Enterprises in acquiring additional working capital to boost the production and to expand the business’ product line.
