The project

Dra. Lucila Zalameda graduated her course on Optometry in 1980. She then established “Soltura Optical Clinic” in Los Baños, Laguna 3 years later. The name ‘Soltura’ came from her maiden name. She is a member of Philippines Optometrist Association. Services she offers are: Complete prescription eyeglasses, free eye check-up, and different type of vision as needed, fitting and prescribing hearing aid. She is also a specialist in EENT (Eye Ears Nose Tongue) and offers operation for patients with her brother. She also has nutritional supplements that she recommends to her patients as health enhancement. Samples are also given to those who has less budget to buy their medicines. She assures to provide a quality yet affordable optometric services for the community.

For the past 33 years, she has maintained her one secretary which she provides with a semi-monthly salary. If needed, she has an on call staff.

Dra. Lucila is a mother of four who are also engaged in medicine.
