      The project

Eden Tapar Bulandos from Dasmariñas Cavite started her textile business in 2011. Mrs Bulandos has a degree in dressmaking from the International Correspondence School in Greenhills. With a small capital from her family business, she started her own textile business with 4 sewing machines. Her husband chips in as well and supervises ETB Textile, which is now running for more than 3 years and has grown quite significantly. Her current number of employees is 15, which is composed of mostly housewives and househusbands that were unemployed.

She also tries to help other housewives in the community that can’t leave their houses due to certain reasons but are in need of extra income for their family. These women are paid for getting scrap textile and returning the finished product to her.

Mrs. Bulandos desires to expand her business by acquiring more sewing machines and provide more help for the community.

Together with local partner NPFC, Lendahand will support the couple by offering a loan to expand their business. The loan will be repaid in 12 months.
