      Summary

Marta is the proud owner of dairy farm ‘el serrucho’. El serrucho means the saw. For 6 years now Marta is the owner of this small farm, and she has cows for dairy production and pigs. Everyday she starts her day at 4 am. Together with her husband she milks the cows and feeds the pigs. As soon as she is finished, she goes to a small bakery in town where she works as manager. Her husband goes to the local dairy processor to sell the raw milk. Marta and her husband have 2 sons (who both go to college) who help them taking care of the animals and to maintain the pasture on which the cows graze.

With the loan, Marta would like to expand her farm. She will buy more cows so she can deliver more milk to the dairy processor. Next to this, she wants sow new pasture. This way, the quality of the grass will increase and the cows will produce better milk. She is also able to hire 1 fixed employee to help her on the farm.
