Chey Youn, 56, is married and resides with her husband and one school-age children in Kampong Cham Province, Cambodia. She and her husband have been growing rice, cashew nuts, and cassava for over 20 years.
Additionally, Her husband also works as dealer, purchase cashew nuts for resell. In order improve her family livelihood, Youn Chey is requesting for a loan to grow more cashew nuts and cassava for the next growing season.
Local partner Kredit provides a loan to Youn that must be repaid within 24 months.
