The project

Angelita Dagoc is a seasoned entrepreneur operating in Lapu-lapu City, Cebu, in the South of the Philippines. Cebu, is one of the oldest City in the Philippines due to it being the first Spanish settlement in the country. It is considered a major business hub in the Visayas Region of the Philippines housing numerous world class resorts, hotels, business centers and leisure spots.

Angelita first started producing world class string instruments for a Guitar Manufacturing company. She perfected and worked on her manufacturing skills until she was able to gather enough resources to start her own Guitar manufacturing enterprise.

Being an expert Guitar Maker, producing quality products was never an issue for Angelita. Not long after putting up her own business, Angelita was able to tap markets in Europe, Asia and some parts of the US. Locally, she was equally successful in marketing her products and was able to ship quality guitars in the popular tourist island of Boracay.

She got interested in getting a working capital loan so that she can fund more orders and increase their production capacity. This loan does not only sustain the Guitar business, but also helps the 22 regular filipino workers of her enterprise.

Angelita’s sees as her aims both to produce really good Guitars as well as helping her worker’s achieve a more stable and rewarding life.
