      Summary

      “Matagoan Farm Supply” is a business established in 2007. It is engage in buy and sell of poultry supplies, corn seeds, fertilizers, feeds, and other farm products where all comes from a supplier in Isabela. It is owned by Elenita Sacki from Tabuk City, in the province of Kalinga. She is married to Randy, who assists her in the daily operation. Both of them started as farmers, sowing rice and corn in a farm owned by her aunt who resides in the United States of America (U.S.A). In 2007, Elenita and her spouse tought of starting a business related to farming or agribusiness, since it is the main source of income in Tabuk City. Knowing and understanding the need and capacity of the farmers, they are lending their products to farmers, giving them four-month-term of payment. 

      With this system they implemented, they were able to cater a total of 100 to 300 farmers, where Defanco Cooperative serves as their biggest client. Elenita has two male and one female workers. Supported with free meal and board and lodging, aside from monthly compensation. 

      NPFC and Lendahand will help Elenita acquire working capital to purchase additional stocks in preparation for the peak season.
