      The project

Michelle Baldemor has the bloodline of artists belonging in the distinct Cagandahan (beauty) of Paete, Laguna. Equipped with deep sense of professionalism, enthusiasm, burning desire for beauty perfection beyond limit and her unconditional love for daughter Kathleen, she started Kath's Handicraft in May 2008.

Kath's Handicraft is distinctly different and locally manufactured handbags and accessories which specializes in wooden bags exotically designed complimenting her accessories. Made from local materials such as piña fiber, abaca fiber, acacia wood, water lilies, pearls, shells, and semi-precious stones, these fine hand crafted products are created with a burning desire for perfection beyond limit. Kath’s Handicraft products are found at high-end malls and hotel lobby shops. Kath's was commissioned to make the crown for the precious Mutya ng Pilipinas (beauty contest) in 2011.

Michelle initially traded bakya (wooden clogs) by joining bazaars and eventually she added and ventured into manufacturing of bags and accessories that she designed. Currently she is employing students to help them support their studies. She is also accepting sub-contract with other brands in fashion accessories. She is planning to extend Kath's line outside the Philippines.

She is sponsoring a child through a local children village foundation.

Lendahand partners NPFC are helping Kath's Handicraft to get more raw materials to boost up production and support for incoming orders.
