The project
2nd LOAN
From a factory worker into a business owner, Adellia Dela Paz established her business selling clothing in 2006. The entrepreneur started with one second-hand sewing machine, but as the number of clients grew, so did the number of sewing machines.
From her first loan with NPFC, she was able to hire 3 additional workers, making a total of 16 workers. Among the employees are out of school youth, housewives and 1 senior citizen. They are provided with bonuses, daily meals, and holiday pay. Additional sewers and cutters are hired depending upon the project size. She was also able to purchase additional Korean textile and materials that she used in order to fullfill the growing number of orders. Since the previous loan, the company's turnover is 4 times larger than before.
Together with local partner NPFC Lendahand will assist Adellia Dela Paz in acquiring additional working capital for business expansion and a possible branch out. To be repaid in 12 months.
