The project

Srun Lors married Sam Dany in 1997, and they have four children. He used to work as driver for a bamboo business owner, then he had concept to start his own business. Eventually, he started his business of selling bamboo in 2011. Lors purchased bamboo from Kratie Province and supplied to local retail shop in Phnom Penh City.

He started with 30 Employees, but as the business grew, that number rose to 35 workers. The workers who have residence in other province are provided with accommodation at Lors’s bamboo storage place in Kien Svay District. Lors is in need of working capital to buy more bamboo, to meet the rising demand of his clients, and also at the same time recruit more workers. 

Using loan from Maxima Microfinance Plc., Lors will be able to increase the number of orders he could manage; and will result in 5 additional full time jobs.
