SECOND LOAN
Clar and Mar Trading is a business engaged in selling of all types of dried fish and pasalubong in Tabo-an Market, Cebu, which are bought to local fishermen, as their way to support for their livelihood and promotion of local delicacies. It was founded by Clarisas parents which she inherited after they passed away in 1990. Items are sold to walk-in buyers and some are delivered to customers in Bohol, for the residents of the area to be able to access the same products.
Clarisa was able to maintain her 10 workers from her first loan to NPFC. She continuously provides them with weekly salary, statutory benefits, together with snacks and living quarter. At the same time, she was able to serve her buyers in the recent Eucharistic congress event that happened on the first quarter of 2016.
Since rainy season is approaching in the Philippines, drying of fish will be a challenge for her suppliers. Thus, she will be needing additional working capital loan to purchase more stocks as a preparation ahead. To be assisted by LendAHand and local partner NPFC.
