The project
Third loan
“Nolibeth Dried Fish Dealer” is located in Tabo-an Public Market, Cebu Province. In 1996, the business was started by husband and wife, Nolito and Marinita Ungui. They sell different dried fish catched by local fishermen and dried by driedfish maker from rural areas / small island in Cebu. They also sell pasalubong items like, otap, dried mangoes, chicharon, and other pasalubong items locally made in the Philippines.
‘Taboan Public Market in Cebu is considered the Best place to find Danggit or Salted, Sun-Dried Rabbitfish and other local dried fish in a reasonable price”
From their first two loans, Marinita was able to maintain their six workers (three female and three male) with regular weekly salary and free snacks. For her new acquired loan she will be able to hire one additional staff for the upcoming event.
NPFC and LAH will be providing a working capital loan to Mrs. Marinita Ungui to purchase a large volume of Dried Fish for the preparation for the upcoming ‘Sinulog Festival 2017’.
