      The project

      Sokkoeurn is married farmer, who lives in the Tbong Khmum province with her husband and her two school aged children. She and her husband have been operating in their rubber and cassava plantation since 2005.

      With this loan Sokkoeurn will be able to purchase one more hectare farmland to grow more crops. She believes that this extra source of income will be sustainable and that the farmland can be a valuable tool to increase her standard of living.

      Local partner Kredit will provide the loan, which has to be repaid in 24 months.

      Impact

      Phillip Bank is a microfinance institution in Cambodia that invests in people and their businesses via Micro-loans.
