The project
Basooka Kwavula is a solidarity group that was formed in 2016 and consists of 20 women. It is located in Central part of Uganda. Members of the group are mostly bar operators, retail shop owners, saloon operators, food vendors and market vendors.
The group members need this loan to enable them to improve and expand their businesses. This will increase their income and create job opportunities for the unemployed youth in their communities.
Local partner OBUL provides this loan with a maturity of 12 months.
