SECOND LOAN

Liliw is a rural area in the province of Laguna. Many of the residents here are in to shoe manufacturing business, and this includes Elwin Conopio who is a native in the municipality. He was trained and exposed by his parents from childhood and since he wasn’t able to finished schooling, he decided to put-up his footwear manufacturing and a store for product display. “Christian Marco Footwear” has been operating for 15 years now.

It has a total of 11 workers, given with piece rate salary, including free meal for all. This includes hired senior citizen that does product labeling. His regular workers receives monthly mandated benefits remitted to respective government agencies. Because Elwin prioritizes the quality and service that he provides to his buyers, a well known mall in the Philippines has recently became his top client and is now purchasing a bulk order of ladies shoes to him.

This lead him to apply for his second loan which will be used as an additional working capital to meet the demand of his newest client and start mass production to meet his deadline before Christmas Season approaches. 

Lendahand and NPFC will provide the loan to Elwin Conopio to start the mass production. The loan will be repaid in 6 months.
