Batkhurel owns a business in shoe manufacturing. Before starting his own business, he worked for a large shoe factory where he learned all the skills he needs. 

In 2006 he opened his own small factory by renting a basement below his apartment building with support from his brother. They produce between 60-70 pair shoes per week and supply the biggest local markets in the city and also distribute to nearby provinces.

With a loan, Batkhurel will be able to acquire raw materials such as leather, fur, and hire an additional employee to realize his dream of establishing a big manufacturing factor in the city. Together with local partner VFM will Lendahand provide a loan that must be repaid in 24 months.
