Sin Somaly married Im Vuthy, and they have 5 children. They live in Koh Okhna Tey Commune, Ksach Kandal District, Kandal Province. Somaly runs her grocery store for more than 20 years from small shop to big shop.

Somaly is able to sell shampoo, instant noodle, biscuit, sugar, beverage, pure drinking water, beer, rice, study material and other stuff for people in her village. It is family business and at present she does not hire any workers, but her husband assist her in the business.

In order to meet the rising demand of her clients, Somaly is in need of working capital to purchase more grocery stuff, rice, and order stock of beer for selling in her shop. Using loan from Maxima Microfinance Plc., Somaly will expand her business with the order she could manage.
