Le projet

Jane Kindi Kooki lives in Suswa village of Narok county. She has four children and like most rural African families Jane accommodates her elderly mother in the same compound.

She mainly uses kerosene lamps for lighting with the downside of health risks in terms of smoke and soot which is evident looking at the corroded roof of her house. The risk of fire is very much alive having experienced a neighbor who lost her house with everything inside as a result of fire accident. She now wants to adopt a solar solution which she considers clean and safe. The family members are happily looking forward. That will give her the peace of mind that even if she lives her children with their grandmother back home, she will surely find them safe and sound.
