Elpidio Mallanao also known as ‘Jojo’, resides at Antipolo City, Rizal. Since he was raised by his parents in cashew nut business, he pursued handling the same business in 2001 and named it “Jojo’s Cashew Nuts and General Merchandise”. Raw cashew nuts are bought in Palawan and some are from Vietnam, where he further process (cutting, drying, packing, etc.) and distributes to co-sellers in Pasalubong Center of Antipolo City. 

His regular workers are four individuals and a few parttimers, mostly housewives that work at home and does cutting, drying, and other processing of cashew nuts. Jojo’s salary for the workers are per wholesale or depending upon the number of cashew nuts processed and packed.

Jojo contributes in the promotion of Antipolo City culture and festivities. Due to peak season, high demand arises in which he needs additional working capital loan to purchase raw cashew nuts from suppliers. Must be repaid in 12 months.
