Normita Lastimosa is a filipina with U.S citizenship. Seeing the potential of handicrafts business in U.S, she started Globalcrafts International Corporation at San Pedro Laguna in 1998. Her handicrafts are made of walis tingting (coconut leaf ribs), buri (kind of palm), abaca (Manila hemp) which are all abundant in the Philippines. All, were exported in U.S with the help of her friends that are interested in handicrafts for home decorations.
Currently, she is employing five male and five female given with reasonable salary and government benefits, at the same time, she has workers for the production with per piece rate salary as her way to help the community. For over 16 years, Globalcrafts International Corporation is continuously exporting their products and dreams to maintain its operations.
Lendahand partner with NPFC will help Globalcrafts International Corporation to acquire additional working capital to purchase raw materials from new purchase orders in U.S and will be able to hire ten more workers for production.
