Resumen

“MLL Food Products” from Taytay, Rizal, was established in year 2010, but was officially registered under Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) on February 15, 2011. The business is engaged in making and processing of pancit canton (Chinese noodles), one of the favorite dish of Filipinos. It is being managed by Lenie Corporal, who is married to Michael that assists her from its daily operation. Even both couples are graduate not related to their present business, the two of them still manage to run the business in good condition. In making pancit canton, instead of using preservatives, raw materials used are all natural. It is one of the reasons why they passed the qualification of Quirino Hospital’s dietician. Because of it, Quirino Hospital serves as one of their regular clients, were they supply and deliver their products weekly. Aside from it, they also supply to Divisoria and different towns of Rizal, like Angono, Cainta, Antipolo, and others.

The continuous expansion of her market is because of the affordable price that she offers. MLL Food Products has been operating for 5 years now, and has helped 17 individuals, composed of three female and 14 male out of school youth, including senior citizen. Workers receives a daily wage, meals, board and lodging, and bonus. Lenie also conducts a company outing every summer. 

Lendahand will provide the loan to Lenie together with local partner NPFC, to purchase raw materials of pancit canton to boost production and meet clients order.
