Carlos-Jop Enterprise is duly registered as a sole proprietorship under the Registrar of Business Names on 25th August, 2006. It was authorised to engage in various lines of business including dealing in hardware and general goods. The business from inception has concentrated on the sales of hardware and ‘provisions’ and has recently opened a large retail supermarket adjacent the Old Accra Station to the public. Client’s merchandise includes Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) such as Rice, Sugar, energy drinks, pastries, assorted cosmetics etc. Also, client foremost dealership in hardware material such as paints, wire gauze, shovels.  Thus, the business is currently split into two (2) sections: Hardware and FMCGs. Client intends to open an ultra-modern electrical shop just above the hardware shop. The business office is located adjacent the Old Accra Station, and has a range of three (3) stores that deal with the hardware, and ‘provisions’ within the same stretch.

The business is managed by Joseph Oppong with staff strength of 15. In the absence of the Managing Proprietor, the wife, Sylvia Oppong takes over the affairs of the business.

Lendahand and local partner ABii National will provide a loan to Joseph in order to realize his ambitions. The loan has to be repaid within 6 months.
