Second loan
Charles and Chrisant founded Logistics Link back in 2009. Prior to entrepreneurship, Charles was a Supply Chain expert taking on various leading roles in multinational companies across media, aviation and security. Having identified a niche (bespoke logistics services to small to medium enterprises) in the market, Charles launched Logistics Link.
As you can imagine with any new venture, the road was tough. Charles’s determination to succeed ensured the company grew from strength to strength. Logistics Link now provides end-to-end solutions to small to medium enterprises across Kenya. Services provided to clients include freight forwarding, customs clearing, warehousing, trucking and distribution across East Africa.
A key client sector Logistics Link supports is the small-scale trader of fresh produce and trade goods. Thanks to Logistics Link, small-scale traders are able to cost effectively move fresh produce & trade goods seamlessly within Kenya and across boarders.
With a second loan (first loan has been paid back in full) Logistics Link will increase affordable services offered to small-scale traders who are arguably the key buyers of produce from the rural informal farmers.
