El proyecto

Daniel Opondo lives in Busia county, Madwele village. He is a father of four children. Together with his wife they live with their sickly mother in the same compound. Daniels main lighting source has been mainly the kerosene lamb and a hand-held torch as a back-up in case the kerosene runs out as well as when nursing the mother at night. This is costly and ended up affecting the academic performance of his daughter last year who was taking the final exam of primary education.

The opportunity to install a solar home system will improve academic performance of the schooling children and has been able to save on money he has been using to buy kerosene.
