Resumen

Analiza Arevalo has been in the shoe manufacturing business for over 24 years. Her knowledge and experience from the footwear business started from her childhood, for she was trained by her parents. When she got married, she and her spouse Jesus, established “Jess & Ann Footwear” in Liliw, Laguna. They manufacture different types of footwear, such as, step-in (slippers) , shoes, and sandals, made out of native raw materials. All products are distributed to small stores in nearby store in Liliw and provinces. 

Currently, she employs six female workers, given with a weekly basis salary and a free meal. She also employ workers that does the labeling and packaging of shoes which creates direct employment within her community. 

Lendahand, will help Analiza together with NPFC, acquire working capital to buy additional raw materials for its continuous production and sustain the demand of her clients.
