El proyecto

Ana has been in the dairy business for more than 18 years. She started her business in Boyaca where she was born. Since four year she moved her business to Chocontá, which is situated about an hour from Bogotá. Her company is called ‘Quesos y Yoghurts de Chocontá ‘, which means ‘cheese and yoghurt from Chocontá ‘.  She produces and sells cheese, yoghurt and other dairy products. She is also the exclusive distributor of Peslac, an innovative dairy brand that only works with local and natural, eco-friendly ingredients. These products are mostly sold to customers who are traveling and want to bring healthy products with them for the journey.  Ana also owns a small café in the same building where customers can enjoy freshly made products. Ana’s husband is the owner of a second business in Chiquinquirá. The offer employment to three people. 

Ana would like to improve the interior of the café. She wants to purchase better furniture so she can attend to more people in the café. At this moment she is renting the building. She dreams of buying the property. With the loan, two new jobs are being created. 

Lendahand and its local partner in Colombia, VSC are granting this loan to Ana. The loan is payable in 24 months.  This way we support Ana in making her ambitions become reality.
