Altantuya grew up in a family of herders that owned grazing cattle. She learned from her parents that technology could be used to speed up the process of producing dairy products. In 2004, she started her own business with 5 cows, producing milk and supplying neighbouring households. Today she owns a big farm with around 90 cows and her own milk and dairy factory called “Khas delgerekh”.

Altantuya currently employs 6 workers and supplies 74 grocery stores and shops.  She is planning to expand her business by optimizing the production facility and become more efficient by 30% and to start selling meat as well. 

With a loan Altantuya will be able to increase her working capital and to invest in new, more efficient equipment. Together with local partner VFM Lendahand will provide a loan that must be repaid in 24 months.
