Le projet

Rodante Monfero is a thirty-five (35) year old father of two sons. Both Dante and his wife came from a family that runs a business in manufacturing shoes, sandals and slippers in Liliw, Laguna as the place is well known for. Dante trained at his uncle's shop as "maglalapat" (Pattern maker) for shoes. In 1999, Dante started the business Jahaziel & Ezekeil Footwear named after his son's name to manufacture various types of shoes, sandals and slippers and supplied the products to different shops around Marikina on a meager capital of three hundred pesos (Php 300) and some raw materials from his father-in-law.

In 2002, the business was shut down due to his wife and son were hospitalized but with the determination to stand up again, little by little the business started to be re-established again. An in 2011, Dante had his own store to sell his products.

Currently, Dante employs four (4) males and three (3) females on a piece rate basis and some bonuses and with his wife as the production manager. Dante aims to acquire another store and have some exports for his products.

Lend a Hand partner's NPFC is helping Jahaziel & Ezekeil in acquiring additional working capital to boost the production and support for the incoming orders.
