It was established in Caloocan City, Metro Manila, in year 2010, but was officially registered in 2015. Its name was derived from the name of Dionesia Malayaos daugther Queen, while tex came from the word textile.
Product waste are donated to a foundation which helps it to raise additional funds for a specific project.
