While studying, Ms. Tapel also worked as vendor in her sibling’s business. She later on worked as a cashier in a local mall, but realized that she won’t earn enough if she continues as an employee. From her small savings, she started her business (selling processed meat products). With her business, even as a single mom, she was able to support her family. From 2 workers, she now hires 6 employees. She caters to several canteens and restaurants. The upcoming holiday season increases the demand of her products and she borrowed from NPFC to augment her capital for the increasing orders.
