Chey Sokny married Yang Kimsrieng, ang they have 3 children. They live in Sangkat Samrorng, Khan Prek Pnov, Phnom Penh. Both of them are farmers. Sokney runs a business of fishing and raising fish since 1996.

Sokny learned the concept of business from his parents. Sokny fishing for different kind of fish. It is family business and at present Sokny does not hire any worker, but his wife helps in the business.

In order to meet the rising demand of his clients for fish, Sokny is in need of working capital to expand his business by enlarging the fish pond and purchase some fishing material. Using loan from Maxima Microfinance Plc., Sokny will be able to increase the number of orders he could manage.
